The Ripon International Festival

One of the most important annual cultural events is the Ripon International Festival. The Festival, held at the beginning of September every year, promises a rich and varied programme.

Now enjoying its 10th Anniversary, the 2007 Festival runs from 1st to 16th September and promises a rich and varied programme, including including classical music, jazz, drama, exhibitions, and poetry. There will be performances by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of Opera North, Red Priest, Mugen Taiko Dojo and Eduardo Niebla.There will also be many recitals, puppetry, drama, day tours of historic churhces and special exhibitions.
