Blowing our own Trumpet

Yorkshire has always had a reputation for its brass bands and Ripon is no exception. Ripon City Band has won many accolades for its performances and is regularly heard playing out and about in the Market Square, the Spa gardens, the cathedral or at Fountains Abbey as shown in this picture.
