New set of traffic measures opens up Borrage Lane and High Cleugh

North Yorkshire County Council has announced a further package of measures to ease traffic congestion in Ripon.
Residential streets will be affected in the latest package of traffic measures being implemented once the closure of Coltsgate Hill goes ahead on Monday. North Yorkshire County Council have issued the following temporary traffic orders, which will be in effect from Monday, May 5, until December 31:
• Lifting the permanent closure of High Cleugh. • Creating a one-way system (east to west) on Borrage Lane. • A ban on right turns from Somerset Row at the junction with Water Skellgate.
